Our Dream
Starting a business together has always been a dream of ours. Over the years, we’ve imagined endless possibilities—from a women’s boutique, our own clothing line, skincare and haircare brands, and even a bakery. It wasn’t until we returned to our hometown, Perryton, Texas, that the idea from MK Creative and Co. was born.
Our Backgrounds
We are both proud Oklahoma State University grads—Go Pokes! Kynleigh graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Biology in December 2022 and her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship in December 2024. Morgyn graduated in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication. During our time at Oklahoma State, we both found our home in Tau Beta Chi Omega, where we made lifelong friends, worked hard, and participated in Greek shows.
Following graduation, life brought us back to our hometown, Perryton, where we knew we could eventually make a difference. Morgyn jumped into her first full-time marketing job while Kynleigh wrapped up her MBA. We started brainstorming ways to combine our talents and passions while also striving to benefit our community. That’s when the idea for a print shop and marketing business was born!
Our MK Creative Journey
Perryton means the world to us. We were born and raised in this wonderful town, and we’re beyond grateful to continue calling it home. The resilience and strength of our community, especially in times like the 2023 tornado, remind us just how special Perryton truly is.
MK Creative & Co. was inspired by the legacy of Becky Randall and Perryton Printing. We wanted to honor what she built while also bringing a fresh, modern twist to the table. Seeing a real need for a local print shop… a space where businesses and individuals could bring their creative visions to life without leaving town. We knew we had to make it happen.
In the fall of 2024, our parents mentioned the idea of starting up a print shop. At first, we weren’t too fond of the idea, but after we started thinking about our skill sets, what we could bring to the table, and all the creativity and endless possibilities this could bring, we decided this might be something we could make a reality. For months, we brainstormed ideas, how we’d want the business to look and run, what we would want to offer and how we were going to do this. In January 2025, we went all in. Over the span of the next 6-8 months, we toured print shops, researched equipment, met with a financial business planner, built a website, and crafted our brand. It wasn’t easy, but we were ready for the challenge.
MK Creative & Co. is more than just a business; it’s our way of giving back to the community that shaped us. We’re excited to share our passion and creativity to others, helping businesses and individuals turn ideas into reality. And while Perryton is our home, our vision doesn’t stop here—we hope to grow beyond it one day.
